Hello !
__________________________________________________________
Let one number be x
Let second number be y
it is given that x /y = 5/3
then y = 3/5 x
ATGC
x -y = 18
x -(3x/5) = 18
5x - 3x /5 = 18
2x /5 = 18
2x = 90
x = 45
as y = 3(45)/5 = 27
so , two numbers are 45 and 27
