Given :-

Two numbers are in the ratio

Solution :-

Let the numbers be 5 x and 3 x

Now , according to the question !

5 x - 3 x = 18

2 x = 18

x = 18 / 2

x = 9

By putting the value of x

3 x = 3 ( 9 ) = 27

5 x = 5 ( 9 ) = 45

So the numbers are 27 , 45
