ratio is 5:6 let no. be 5x and 6x
5 is added to both ratio becomes 6:7
5x+5/6x+5 = 6/7
cross multiply
35x+35=36x+30
35x-36x=30-35
-x=-5
x=5
and the nos. are 25 and 30
