Let the numbers be 5x and 6x. Then,

According to question,

5x + 6x = 132

=> 11x = 132

=> x = 132/11

=> x = 12

Hence, the first number = 5×12 = 60

and the second number = 6×12 = 72.

Given that:
Two numbers are in ratio 5 : 6
And
their sum is 132 

Solution:-
let first number be equal to 5x
And
second number be equal to 6x 

According to question ;
Sum of numbers
5x + 6x = 132 

=> 11x = 132 

=> x = 132 / 11 = 12 

Hence:
 first number = 5x = 5×12 = 60
Second number = 6x = 6×12  = 72 Answer
