Answer:

49 and 77

Step-by-step explanation:

The two number are in ratio  7:11

Let the ratio be x

So, Numbers are 7x and 11 x

Now 7 is added to both  the ratio becomes 2:3

So, ATQ

7x+7/11x+7=2/3

3(7x+7)=2(11x+7)

x=7

therefore ,first number is 7×7=49

second number is =11×7= 77

Answer:

7:11=7/11

let the unknown number be x , so now the ratio is 7x:11x that is 7x/11x

7 is added to 7x and 11x

7x+7/7+11x=2/3

3(7x+7)=2(11x+7)

21x+21=22x+14

21x-22x=14-21

-1x=-7

the minus signs get cancelled ,now  ...

x=7

now that we know the value of x , we can easily put in the values and find the 2 unknown numbers..

one number is 7x=7*7=49

another number is 11x=11*7=77

i hope it is helpful :)
