_______ = ________

(11x +7) 3

2(11x + 7) =3(7x + 7)

22x + 14 = 21x + 21

22x - 21x = 21-14

x= 7

Answer:

Since the number are in the ratio 7 : 11, let the required number be 7x and 11x.

According to given, (7x + 7) : (11x + 7) = 2 : 3

(7x + 7) / (11x + 7) = 2 / 3

22x + 14 = 21x + 21

x = 7

7x = 7.7

7x = 49.

11x = 11.7

11x = 77

.°. The required number are 49 and 77
