Let the two numbers be 7x and 11x

Sum of two numbers = 306

A/Q

7x + 11x = 306

18x = 306

x = $\frac{306}{18}$

x = 17

1st number = 7x = 7 × x = 7 × 17 = 119

2nd number = 11x = 11 × x = 11 × 17 = 187
