Two numbers are in the ratio 7:6. If 2 is subtracted from the first number and 6 from the second number,

Answer:

Let the numbers are 7x and 6x

after subtracting first number =7x-2

and second number=6x-6

According to question

7x-2/6x-6=4/3

3(7x-2) =4(6x-6)

21x-6=24x-24

24x-21x= -6+24

3x =18

x=6

first number=7.6=42

second number=6.6=36
