Two numbers are in the ratio 9:2.if the smaller number is 320.find the larger number.

Let the ration be x

9x:2x

Smallest no. = 2x = 320

Therefore,

x = 160

Larger no. = 9x = 9 × 160 = 1440

According to the given condition,

Smaller number is 320 i.e.

2x=320

x=320/2
