Answer:-

The Required Two Numbers Are 78 and 54 respectively.

Explanation:-

Given:-

  • The two numbers are in ratio 13 : 9.

  • Difference between the numbers is 24.

To Find:-

  • The Number.

Now,

  • Since the ratio of the numbers is 13 : 9 so let the numbers be 13x + 9x respectively.

  • Also since the difference between the numbers is positive this means the larger number is subtracted from smaller one, and clearly we can see that 13x > 9x.

Therefore ATQ:-

↦ 13x - 9x = 24.

↦ 4x = 24.

↦ x = 24/4.

↦ x = 6.

So we get the value of x = 6.

And Hence,

The Numbers are:-

  • 13x = 13 × 6 = 78.

  • 9x = 9 × 6 = 54.

Therefore The Numbers Are 78 and 54 respectively.
