Solution :

• Let , two numbers in ratio be , $2x$ and $3x$ .
• According to given data we know that sum of two numbers is $165$ .
• Therefore , we represent given condition as , $2x + 3x = 165$

• On solving  $2x + 3x = 165$

                                    $5x = 165 \\x = 33$  

• Now ,by substituting the value of $x$ in numbers we find numbers  .
• First number,  $2x = 2 \times 33 = 66$
• Second number , $3x = 3\times 33 =99$

Hence , numbers in ratio are $66$ and $99$ .
