Let the ratio be x

So, Numbers are 3 x and 4x

we are give that  If 5 is added to both the numbers, the ratio becomes 4:5

So, ATQ

\frac{3x+5}{4x+5}=\frac{4}{5}

5(3x+5)=4(4x+5)

15x+25=16x+20

5=x

So, Greater number = 4x =4(5)= 20

Hence  the greater number is 20
