Given:

Two numbers are in the ratio 3:5

and sum of thier square is 1666

To find:

The numbers

\green{Answer}

Consider the numbers :

3x and 5x

according to the quesion

sum of their squares is 1666

(3x) {}^{2}  + (5x) {}^{2}  = 1666

9x {}^{2}  + 25x {}^{2}  = 1666

34x {}^{2}  = 1666

x {}^{2}  =  \frac{1666}{34}

x   {}^{2}  = 49

x =  \sqrt{49}

x = 7

putting the value of x

Then the numbers are

\large{3x=3(7)=21}

\large{5x=5(7)=35}
