Step-by-step explanation:

Let the original ratio be 4x and 5x.

4x + 6 / 5x + 6 = 6 / 7 (cross multiply)

7(4x + 6) = 6(5x + 6)

28x + 42 = 30x + 36

42 - 36 = 30x - 28x

2x = 6

x = 3

THE TWO NUMBERS ARE :

4x = 4 × 3 = 12

5x = 5 × 3 = 15
