Answer:

X= 3

Given :- Two Numbers Are In The Ratio Of 7:9 .If Is Substracted From Each Of Them. The Ratio Become 3:5 Which Of The Following Are The Possible Number

Hence, Let The Rationale Between Two Numbers Be X.

Two Numbers Are In The Ratio 7:9

Hence The Two Numbers Are 7X And 9X.

If 12 Is Subtracted From Each Of Them, The Ratio Becomes 3:5.

According To Condition :- On Substraction Of 12 The Numbers Are 7X - 12 And 9X - 12. Their Ratio

(7X - 12)/(9X - 12 = 3 / 5

Cross Multiplication

5 (7X - 12) = 3 (9X - 12)

35X - 60 = 27X - 36

35X - 27X = 60 – 36

8X = 24

X = 3 Answer
