1: let the number be 5x and 3x

According to the question,

5x-3x=18

2x= 18

Therefore, x = 18/2= 9

Hence , 1 st no. = 5x =5*9 = 45

2 nd no. =3x =3*9=27

2 : Let 3 consecutive integer be x , x+1, x+2 = 51

According to question,

x+(x+1)+(x+2) = 51

3x + 3 = 51

3x= 51-3

3x = 48

x = 48/3 = 16

1 integer = 16

2 integer = x+1 = 16+1 = 17

3 integer = x+ 2 = 16 + 2 = 18
