Solution :

$\longmapsto\tt{Let\:1st\:no.\:be=7x}$

$\longmapsto\tt{Let\:2nd\:no.\:be=4x}$

$\longmapsto\tt{Difference=18}$

A.T.Q :

$\longmapsto\tt{7x-4x=18}$

$\longmapsto\tt{3x=18}$

$\longmapsto\tt{x=\cancel\dfrac{18}{3}}$

$\longmapsto\tt\bold{x=6}$

Value of x is 6...

Therefore :

$\longmapsto\tt{1st\:No.=7(6)}$

$\longmapsto\tt\bold{42}$

$\longmapsto\tt{2nd\:No.=4(6)}$

$\longmapsto\tt\bold{24}$

So , The numbers are 42 and 24...
