hiii!!!

here's ur answer...

given the ratios are 7:5

ATQ,

if 2 is subtracted from each of them, the ratios becomes 3:2

let the ratios be 7x and 5x

therefore \: \frac{7x - 2}{5x - 2} = \frac{3}{2} \\ \\ = > 2(7x - 2) = 3(5x - 2) \\ \\ = > 14x - 4 = 15x - 6 \\ \\ = > 14x - 15x = - 6 + 4 \\ \\ = > - x = -2 \\ \\ = > x = 2

hence, the numbers are :-

7x = 7 × 2

= 14

5x = 5 × 2

= 10

VERIFICATION :-

ratios are 14 : 10

new ratio after subtracting 2 from each number is 3 : 2

14 - 2 = 12

10 - 2 = 8

12/8 = 3/2

hence verified...

hope this helps..!!
