Let us assume that, the third number is equal to 100x .

So,

→ First number = 25% less than 100x = (100% - 25%) of 100x = 75% of 100x = (75 × 100x)/100 = 75x

and,

→ Second number = 36% less than 100x = (100% - 36%) of 100x = 64% of 100x = (64 × 100x)/100 = 64x

then,

→ Second number less than the first number by = 75x - 64x = 11x

therefore,

→ Required % = (Difference × 100) / First number

→ Required % = (11x × 100) / 75x

→ Required % = (44/3)%

→ Required % = 14(2/3)% (Ans.)
