To Find:

What percent is the second of the first?

Solution:

Let the 3rd number be 100.

So,

1st number will now be 70.

And,

2nd number will be 60.

Now, according to the question,

Second number of the first = Second Number / First number x 100

                                             = (60 / 70) x 100

                                             = 85.68%

Hence, the second number is 85.68% of the first number.
