Let the nos be denoted by x.
Ratio = 3x : 5x
ATQ....
 \frac{3x + 10}{5x + 10}  =  \frac{5}{7}  \\  =  > 21x + 70 = 25x + 50 \\  =  > 70 - 50 = 25 x - 21x \\  =  > 4x = 20 \\  =  > x = 5.
3x = 3×5 =15
5x = 5×5= 25
The nos are 15 and 25.

5

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the numbers as x and y

So their ratio:

x/y = 3/5

Cross multiple

5x =3y

x = 3y/5

y = 5x/3

If 10 is added

10+X/ 10+y = 5/7

Cross multiple

70+7x = 50 + 5y

20 +7x = 5y.

Putting the value of X

20+ 7(3y/5) = 5y

Taking LCM

100+ 21y /5 = 5y

100+21y = 25y

100 = 25y-21y

100 = 4y

100/4 = y

25 = y

x = 3y/5

x = 3(25)/5

x = 15

So X = 15 and y = 25
