Given,

  • The ratio between two number is 3:4

To Find,

  • Original Numbers = ?

Solution,

Let the two numbers be 3x and 4x.

\boxed{\bf{\bold{\red{According \ to \  Question :}}}}

⇒If 16 is added to both numbers then the ratio between the new numbers so formed ratio = 5 :6

\implies \bold{(3x + 16) : (4x +16) = 5 :6}

\implies \bold{\frac{3x + 16 }{4x + 16} = \frac{5}{6}}

\implies \bold{6(3x + 16) = 5(4x +16)}

\implies \bold{18x + 96 = 20x + 80}

\implies \bold{18x - 20x = 80 -96}

\implies \bold{-2x = -16 }

\implies \bold{x = \frac{-16}{-2}}

\implies \boxed{\bold{x = 8}}

Therefore ,

⇒Original Number are 3x = 3 x 8 = 24 And 4x = 4 x 8 = 32
