=) 3x-9+2x = 66

=) 3x-2x = 66+9

=) x = 75

2x+3y=66 ----------(2)

multiply (1) by 3

3x-3y=9 --------------(3)

add (2) and (3)

3x - 3y =9

+ 2x+ 3y =66

5x =75

put x=15 in (1)

15-y=3

y= 12
