Let larger number be x

smaller number be (x-3)

ATP

{3(x-3)+2x} = 66

=) 3x-9+2x = 66

=) 3x-2x = 66+9

=) x = 75

Ans:- The larger number = 75

The smaller number = (75-3) = 72

Answer:

x-y=3 --------(1)

let smaller number be y and greater be X

2x+3y=66 ----------(2)

multiply (1) by 3

3x-3y=9 --------------(3)

add (2) and (3)

3x - 3y =9

+ 2x+ 3y =66

5x =75

x = 15

put x=15 in (1)

15-y=3

y= 12
