HEY DEAR ... ✌

Let the two numbers be x and y such that x> y. so equation 1 is x-y = 3. so x = y + 3. equation 2 will be 2y + 3x = 19. replace the value of x in equation 2.
now we get
2y + 3 (y + 3) = 19
2y + 3y + 9 = 19
5y = 19 - 9
5y = 10
y = 10/5 = 2
so x = 2 + 3 = 5
Ans x = 5 and y = 2

Hello Dear!!!

Here's your answer....

two numbers differ by 3.

Let,

one number be x

and other be x+3

The sum of twice the smaller number and thrice the greater number is 19

2x+3(x+3) = 19

2x+3x+9 = 19

5x+9 = 19

5x= 19-9

5x= 10

x=10/5

x= 2.

The smaller number is 2

the greater number is 5.
