Hey... I think this can be ur answer!!
_________________________

Let the larger no. be x and smaller one be y.

ATQ,
x-y = 3
x= 3+y...(1)

Now,
2y + 3x =19...(2)

Substituting (1) in (2),
2y + 3(y+3) = 19
2y +3y =10
5y =10
y = 2 - the smaller number
x = 3+y = 5 - larger number

==============================

let the numbers be x and y

Two numbers differ by 3

=>x = 3 +y

the sum of twice the smaller number and thrice greater number is 19

here the greater number is x and smaller is y [as x = y+3]

lets from an equation,

=> 2y + 3x = 19

=>2y + 3(y+3) =19
[as x = y+3]

=> 2y +3y +9 =19

=>2y +3y =19-9

=>2y +3y = 10

=>5y =10

=>y = 10/5

=> y is 2

hence y is 2

since x is y +3

              = 2 +3

              = 5

so the numbers are 2 and 5

check

 the sum of twice the smaller number and thrice greater number should be 19

=>2[2] + 3[5] = 19

=>4 +15 =19

=>19 =19

∴proved
