y-x=3        y=x+3
2x+3y=19
2x+3(x+3)=19
2x+3x+9=19
5x=10
x=2
y=5

Let the bigger number be x....
then smaller number will be ( x - 3 )

According to the condition,
2*( x - 3) + 3*x = 19
2x - 6 + 3x = 19
5x = 19+6
5x = 25
Therefore, x = 5
So the numbers are 5 and 2
