Hi there!

Let the two numbers be x and y such that x > y.

ATQ,

x - y = 3

∴ x = y + 3. ----(i)

2y + 3x = 19. ----(ii)

Substitute value of x in eqn. (ii)

2y + 3 (y + 3) = 19

2y + 3y + 9 = 19

5y = 19 - 9

5y = 10

y = 10 / 5 = 2

Thus,
x = 2 + 3 = 5

Hence, The required answer is :-
The two numbers are x = 5 and y = 2

hope it helps! :)

hi friend!
let the two numbers be a and b such that a>b.so equation 1 is a- b=3.so a=b+3.equation 2 will be 2b+3a=19.replace the value of a in equation 2.
now we get
2b+3(y+3)=19
2b+3b+9=19
5b=19-9
5b=10
b=2
so a=2+3=5
and a=5 and b=2
hope my answer helps you
