Given :-

★ Two numbers with ratio 5:6.

★ When 2 is added to first and 3 is added to second the ratio becomes 4:5.

To find:- The two numbers.

Solⁿ:-

Let us assume the first number as 5x and the second number as 6x.

A/q,

When we add 2 to first and 3 to secure the ratio turns out to be 4:5.

 \frac{5x \:  +  \: 2}{6x \:   +  \: 3}  =  \frac{4}{5}

\leadsto \: 5(5x \:  +  \: 2) =  \: 4(6x \:  + 3)

\leadsto \: 25x \:  + 10 = 24x \:  + 12

\leadsto \: 25x \:  - 24x \:  = 12  \:  - 10

\color{brown}{\sf}[x \:  = 2]

Therefore,

♦ First number = 5x (assumed above)

→ 5 × 2 = 10

Second number = 6x

→6 × 2 = 12
