Two numbers N1 and N2 when divided by 6 leave remainder 2 and 4 ,respectively. what will be the remainder when N1 - N2 is divided by 6.​

the question is wrong because N1 is smaller than N2 so,the question will be N2 -N1 not N1 -N2 ..

Let N₂ = 22 so that the remainder is  '4' when divided by '6'.

Now N₁ - N₂ = 38 - 22 = 16

When N₁ - N₂ = 16 is divided by '6', the remainder is '4'.

Therefore the remainder is '4' when N₁ - N₂ is divided by 6.
