3x - 5 / 4x - 5 = 2/3

3 ( 3x - 5 ) = 2 ( 4x - 5 )

9x - 15 = 8 x - 10

9x - 8 x = 15 - 10

x = 5

so smallest number is , 3x = 3 ×5

= 15
