Solution :
Since, one number exceeds the other by 18, let the numbers are x and x+18.
Now, sum of the numbers = 92
=> x + (x + 18) = 92
=> 2x + 18 = 92
=> 2x = 92 - 18
=> 2x = 74
=> x = 37
So, the required numbers are
37 and (37 + 18)
i.e., 37 and 55

Hii friend,
Let the number be Z
Then the other number will be Z+18
A/Q,
Z+ Z+ 18 = 92
2Z + 18 = 92
2Z = 92-18
2Z = 74
Z= 74/2
Z = 37
Therefore,
First Number = Z = 37
Other Number = Z+18 = 37+18 = 55
