two object of mass 10kg and 20 kg respectively dropped toward ground from the same height. both the objects reach the ground together or not ? write your answer with reason for both of the situations.

Let us assume 10kg as A and 20kg as B.

The body B having mass 20 kg has the greater potential energy. This can be explained as follows:

P.E= mgh  

For both the bodies gravity and height are same so the body with greater mass possesses greater potential energy.

Therefore NO both the objects will not reach the ground together.
