Two objects A and B are moving along the same straight line in opposite direction with velocity 10m/s and 5m/s respectively. They colloid during which stick each other. mass of object A 15kg. mass of object B 01kg. what is the velocity of combination.

Object A with mass 15kg of moving at 10m/s. Therefore momentum of object A will be 10*15 Nm, which will be 150 Ns
Similarly momentum of object B will be 5*1= 5Ns
On colliding, object B, having less momentum completely losses it, while object A losses 5Ns
Now their combined momentum is 145 Ns while combined mass is 16kg
That gives us the final velocity as 145/16, which will be equal to 9.0625m/s
