Answer:-

The value of gravitational force will remain unchanged.

Explanation:-

By Newton's Universal Law of Gravitation, we know that:-

F = GMm/ ----[1]

Where:-

F is Gravitational force of attraction

G is Universal Gravitational Constant

M is mass of the 1st object

m is mass of the 2nd object

r is distance between the objects

Now, when the masses of both the objects are doubled i.e. 2M and 2m, and the distance between them is also doubles i.e 2r, then the new force of attraction [F'] , will be :-

=> F' = G×2M×2m/(2r)²

=> F' = 4GMm/4r²

=> F' = GMm/ -----[2]

On dividing eq.2 by eq.1, we get:-

=> F'/F = [GMm/r²]/[GMm/r²]

=> F'/F = 1

=> F' = F

Thus, the value of new gravitational force remains same or unchanged.
