Two objects move with a speed of 17 m/s . One has a KE of 3300 J and the other has a KE of 750000 J. What are their respective masses?​

Answer:

KE = ½mv²

OBJECT 1 =

ke = 3300J

v = 17m/s

therefore mass = x

=> ½×x×17² = 3300

=> 289x = 6600

=> x = 6600/289

=> x = 22.84kg = mass of object 1

OBJECT 2 =

ke = 750000

v = 17m/s

mass = y

=> ½y×17² = 750000

=> 289y = 1500000

=> y = 1500000/289

=> y = 5190.31 kg
