Given that two opposite angle of a parallelogram are (5 x - 20)° and (70 - 4 x)°

We know that opposite angles of the parallelogram are always equal.

So that means given angles are also equal.

So we can write:

(5 x - 20)° = (70 - 4 x)°

5 x - 20=70 - 4 x

5x+4x=70+20

9x=90

9x/9=90/9

x=10

Now plug value of x into each angle

(5 x - 20)° =(5 *10 - 20)° =(50 - 20)° = 30°

(70 - 4 x)° = (70 - 4 *10)° = (70 - 30)° = 30°

Hence both angles are equal to 30°.
