two opposite angles of a parallelogram are (5x-8)° and (2x+82)° find measures of each angle of parallelogram​

Answer:

We know that, the opposite angles of a parallelogram are equal

so , 5x-8 = 2x + 82

or , 5x - 2x = 82+8

or , 3x = 90

or , x = 90/3

or , x = 30

Now putting value of x in the angles given,

5x-8 = (5*30)-8 = 150-8 = 142°

2x + 82= 2*30 + 82= 60+82= 142°

We also know that adjacent angles of a parallelogram add upto 180°

so, 180°-142° = 38°

ANSWER = The angles of the parallelogram are 142° ,38°, 142°, 38°
