If the 2 forces are equal and if it acts in the opposite direction then the net force will be 0 and there will be no movement on the body on which the force is applied
If the 2 forces are unequal and if it acts in the opposite direction then the net force will not be 0, therefore there will be a movement on the body in which the force is applied, and the direction of movement will be towards the direction of greater force
If there are 2 forces A and B, if A is greater than B than the direction of move men will be towards the direction of A
