imagine a trapezoid....
and that measurements....
now take the perpendicular from upper side to lower side .....
u got a rectangle.....
get the measure ....of the remaining side by substracting....58-42
= 16/2
=8
use Pythagoras .....
get the height.....15cm
not area of trapezoid is
1/2*sum of lengths of parallel sides * height
1/2*58+42*15
1/2*100 *15
