The Annual Prize Distribution function of our school/college was held last Monday. It was presided over by the Vice-Chancellor of Delhi University.
The function was held in the school play-grounds, where a big ‘Shaman’ was pitched. Preparations for the function had started many days in advance. The whole place was tastefully decorated with flowers, buntings, balloons and colorful strips of paper and ribbon.
Besides the scholars, the sportsmen were also to receive the prizes. Among the scholars were the students who had got first or second position in the last annual or house examination. The Sports Day of the school had also been held about a fortnight before. The winners and the runners-up were to be provided prizes now.
