Two parallel chords are drawn in a circle of diameter 50 cm. The length of one
chord is 40 cm and the other chord is 30 cm. Find the distance between the
chords, if both the chords are:
(1) on the same side of the centre
(ii) on the opposite sides of the centre.​

= - 15 + 20 = 5 cm
