Heya Frnd. ....... ☺

It is given that two lines are parallel.

So,

(x-8)° + (5x - 4)° = 180°

=> 6x - 12° = 180°

=> 6x = 180 + 12

=> x = ( 192/ 6)°

=> x = 32 °

So,

1st angle = x - 8
=> 32 - 8 = 24°

2nd angle = 180 - 24
= 156°.

The reason for which I took the sum of angles = 180° is there in the picture attached above.

Hi friend,

Here is your answer,
______________________________________________________________

The sum of both the angles will be 180° because the corresponding angles are complementary.

(x-8)° + (5x - 4)° = 180°
6x - 12° = 180°
6x = 180 + 12
x = ( 192/6)°
x = 32°

Therefore,

One angle = x - 8 = 24°

Other angle = 5x - 4 = 156°.

The angles are 24° and 156°.
