Answer:

we know that the area of trapezium = 1/2 into × (Sum of parallel Sides) × height

Step-by-step explanation:

1/2×( 31+15)×17

1/2×(46)×17

1/2×782

Answer 391cm is the area

✨✨ Hey mate ✨✨

Here is the solution :-

Given ,

Parallel sides of Trapezium :-

= 15 cm

= 31 cm

Non parallel sides = 17 cm

Draw a line BG || DC .

Here we get ,

GC = (31-15) cm

=> 16 cm

Now , we got a Right angled triangle of

hypotenuse = BC = 17 cm

Base = GC = 16 cm

BG = Height.

As we know according to the Pythagorean triplet :-

= +

289 = + 256

= 289 - 256

= 33

a= 6 ( approxi.)

Height = 6 cm

Area of given Trapezium = 1/2 ( a + b) × h

=> 1/2 × 46 × 6

=> 138 cm²
