Answer:

The area of the trapezium is 6576 cm square.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given : Two parallel sides are 120cm and 154cm and other sides 50cm 52cm

To find : Area of trapezium?

Solution :

Refer the attached figure.

Area of the triangle,

s=\frac{a+b+c}{2}

s=\frac{50+34+52}{2}

s=\frac{136}{2}

s=68

A=\sqrt{s(s-a)(s-b)(s-c)}

A=\sqrt{68(68-50)(68-34)(68-52)}

A=\sqrt{68(18)(34)(16)}

A=\sqrt{665856}

A=816cm^2

A=\frac{1}{2}\times b\times h

816=\frac{1}{2}\times 34\times h

816=17\times h

h={816}{17}

h=48cm

Area of the trapezium is

A=\frac{1}{2} \times h\times (b_1+b_2)

A=\frac{1}{2} \times 48\times (120+154)

A=\frac{1}{2} \times 48\times 274

A=6576 cm^2

Therefore, The area of the trapezium is 6576 cm square.
