area of trapezium=1/2(sum of parallel sides)*h
=1/2(12+36)*15
= 1/2(48)*15
=12*15
=180

Given: let 1st side =12cm
let 2nd side=36cm
height = 15cm
Area of trapezium = 1/2×(a+b)×h
= 1/2×(12+36)×15
= 1/2×(48)×15
= 1/2×48×15
= 24×15
Area of trapezium = 360cm.
