Two parallel sides of a trapezium are 22 cm and 34 cm. find its area if measures of the distance between parallel sides is 15cm

1/2 * sum of parralel sides * hight. 1/2 *(22+34)*15. = 1/2*56*15= 28*15=420

area= sum of parallel sides× height /2

(22 + 34)  \times 15 \div 2  \\  \\  = 56 \times 15 \div 2 \\  \\  = 840 \div 2 \\  \\  = 420 \: cm^{2}
