HI FRIEND

It can be observed that ABED is a parallelogram.

BE = AD = 60 cm
ED = AB = 25 cm
EC = 77 − BE= 17 cm

For ΔDEC,

Semi-perimeter
25+26+17/2 = 34

Area of triangle = √s(s-a)(s-b)(s-c)
Area of ΔDEC =√34(34-25)(34-26)
(34-17)

[cm2= 204 cm2]

Area of ΔDEC =
1/2 EC x DF
204 = 1/2 x 17 x DF
DF = 408/17 = 24 cm

Area of the trapezium =
1/2 x (AD X BC ) x DF
1/2 x (60+ 77) x 24.
= 1644 cm²

HOPE IT HELPS
