Two parallel sides of a trapezium are 85 cm and 63 cm and its area is 2664 cm. Find its altitude.​

area of a trapezium =  1/2 * {two parallel sides}* { height }

Let height of the trapezium be ' X '.

substituting values in the above equation,

2664 = 1/2 * {85} * {X}

2664 * 2 / 85 = X

X = 62.68 cm.

Height of the trapezium is 62.6 cm.
