Two parallel sides of a trapezium are 85 cm and 63 cm and its area is 2664cm2 . Find its altitude .

Area of trap. = 1/2* sum of ll sides * height
2664=1/2*(85+63) *h
2664=74*h
2664/74=h
h=36
Hence, altitude=36
