Two parallel sides of a trapezium are60cm and 77cm and distance between them is 8cm find the area of trapezium

The area of the trapezium will be 548 cm square.

Area of Parallelogram = ½(a+b)h

a = 60cm

b =77cm

h=8cm

Area = ½×(60+77)×8

=½×137×8

=137×4=548cm²
